Lydia opened DeLuscious in 2002 after a successful career in television news and politics. A seasoned media professional, Lydia began her career in television news working for CBS and KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, researching and producing Bill Stout’s nightly commentaries. Later, she produced a weekly ½ hour television program, “Newsmakers,” for which she received a Golden Mike award and three additional nominations. She then transitioned into politics, serving as the Deputy Press Secretary and then Westside Area Deputy for former Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley. Through these experiences, Lydia cultivated her commitment to integrity, service, and attention to detail, which she applies at DeLuscious every day.

Her curiosity, creativity and willingness to experiment with unusual, high-quality ingredients are what give DeLuscious cookies their unmatched flavors and textures.
